Adding an Embedded WebPage

Learn how to use and add an embedded WebPage on the TouchMD Dashboard.

Embedded WebPage (Narrow & Wide) Information:

Use:

To embed a HTML element like a widget or web page directly into presentation sheets. Narrow embedded pages are displayed at a width of 300 pixels.  Wide embedded pages are displayed at a width of 785 pixels.

Suggested uses of this layout may include:

  • To display a patient reviews widget (ie. Real Patient Ratings)
  • To display a practice website page

Whenever possible, we recommend using a web link or web video in the Article or Poster layouts instead of using this embedded web layout. Use of more than one embedded layout on a sheet may increase the time it takes to load that sheet in our apps. We can not guarantee the functionality or full compatibility of third party widgets or web pages within embedded layouts. This includes how it functions with our responsive design, particularly its appearance on mobile devices, and if it functions on all apps.

Please consider using urls that have secure (https) domains. Security in the browser does not allow insecure web pages to be displayed on the patient web portal.

Creating a Embedded WebPage steps:

  1. Select “Add New Section”addnewsection
  2. Select the “Embedded WebPage” (Narrow or Wide) layout
  3. Enter a Section title and paste your widget code or secure URL in the box.
  4. Select the Preview button to verify how your page will be shown in the embedded web page window.
  5. Select the “Save” button to finish.
