Patient Registration
This lesson will teach you a pivotal step, patient registration! To save information into a patient account and for the patient to have the ability to login, they must have an account. This lesson will discuss multiple options to register patients. As you review each of these options, determine which option(s) will work best for your practice and start registering! All Options:
Method # 1 – Consult App
Learn how to register a patient via the TouchMD Consult application. This one of the methods that may be used to create patient accounts. This method is recommended when a patient is already in the office for a consult/visit or a quick registration of a patient is needed.
Method # 2 – Dashboard
Learn how to register a patient via the TouchMD Dashboard. This is one of a few methods that may be used to create a patient account. Note that this method is recommended as patients call in to schedule their appointment.
Method # 3 – Third-Party Integration
Learn how to use a third-party EMR software integration to create a patient account. Normal entry of a patient account into your third-party EMR Software, will prompt a message to TouchMD and a patient account will be created in the TouchMD patient list. Please note that for a patient account to be created in TouchMD, each patient account must have a valid first name, last name, Date of Birth, and a valid and unique email address. Method # 4 – Snap
As some practice work flows may work best to register patients at the time of a photo or a video session, learn how to register patients via TouchMD Snap.
Method # 5 – Patient – Self Registration
