How TouchMD Blast Works for Patients

How do I get Blast?

Blast is a subscription-based TouchMD addon product and may not be currently available to your practice. To learn more about Blast or sign up for Blast, select here or speak to your Account Manager.

Who can manage?

To manage Blast, log onto the TouchMD Dashbard App and select “Blast”. Note: to manage Blast, the user will need the “Marketing” access role. How can I use Blast with my patients?

This particular feature will be available if Blast is an active feature for your TouchMD system. If you are interested in purchasing and using Blast, please contact your TouchMD Account Manager.


Learn how patients will receive and interact with Blasts (app notification messages). Patients will receive Blasts via the myTouchMD patient app.

How do I get Blast?

For patients to view Blast via the TouchMD Patient Experience, Blast must be active. To purchase and activate Blast, reach out to your TouchMD Account Manager. To learn more about Blast, select here

This video teaches patients how they will receive and interact with Blasts (app notification messages). Patients receive Blasts via the myTouchMD patient app.

Have your patient do the following:

Step 1: Install the myTouchMD app from the app store & log into the app

Step 2: Select the notifications icon OR select the menu and “Notifications”

Step 3: View and interact with a Blast
