oVio: How it Works

When pictures are taken in oVio, they will be sent to a matching patient account in TouchMD. If the Patient’s account does not exist yet in TouchMD, oVio will create a new patient account in TouchMD (first name, last name, and DOB are required; a patient email address is highly encouraged) prior to sending the images.

oVio: Steps to Integrate

  1. Contact your oVio representative and let them know that you would like to integrate with TouchMD.
  2. Send an email to [email protected] and let them know you’ve started the process with oVio to integrate with TouchMD. Include the name and contact information of the oVio representative you are working with.
  3. Complete the billing (invoice) process with TouchMD.
  4. oVio and TouchMD will work behind the scenes to configure the integration.
  5. Your oVio representative will reach out to you confirm the completion of this integration.

oVio: How long will it take to integrate?

TouchMD will start working on your request within 24 – 48 business hours. However, setup and completion of an integration requires coordination and scheduling with the oVio technical team. On average, oVio integrations take 5-7 days to complete.

oVio: What does it cost?

There is a one-time fee to setup an integration with oVio. An additional fee will be added to all subsequent TouchMD Monthly Maintenance invoices to maintain the oVio interface. The setup fee is to cover the time and resources spent by our IT and Integration teams to configure the integration between TouchMD and your oVio system. The monthly fee is to maintain the connection between TouchMD and your oVio system. With the integration, our system stores specific encrypted information on our server for each patient account to correctly link the patient between TouchMD and the oVio system. Storage of this information comes at a cost from our server host and the monthly fee covers those costs.

Your imaging software provider may charge additional fees to setup and maintain an interface with TouchMD. TouchMD is not responsible for payment of any fees assessed by your imaging software provider.
