(Optional) Assigning, Reviewing & Completing a Reviewer Signature Consent

A Reviewer Signature allows for a staff member/provider/medical director to add their signature to a consent at a later time. This may be used by a medical director, provider, or staff member that needs to review the consent and add their signature at a separate time from the time that a patient signs the consent form. The staff member/provider will use the TouchMD Consult or TouchMD Dashboard app to review and sign the consent. Once you’re done watching the videos, be sure to move onto the next lesson or knowledge check so you don’t miss a thing!

Assigning a Consent Equipped with a “Reviewer Signature” to a Patient:
Learn how to assign and complete the patient’s portion of a consent equipped with a Reviewer Signature via the TouchMD Consult app. Note that consents may be assigned to a patient via the TouchMD Dashboard website as well. Patients may not, however, complete the consent.
Reviewing and Completing a Consent Equipped with a “Reviewer Signature” by a Medical Director, Provider, or Staff Member:
Consult App:
Learn how to review and complete a consent equipped with a “Reviewer Signature” via the TouchMD Consult app. This is may be used by a medical director, provider, or staff member to add their signature at a time differing from the patient.
Use the Consult app to review and complete one consent at a time.
Dashboard App:
Learn how to review and complete a consent equipped with a “Reviewer Signature” via the TouchMD Dashboard app. This is may be used by a medical director, provider, or staff member to add their signature at a time differing from the patient.
Use the Dashboard app to quickly review and complete multiple consents for multiple patients. This is ideal for a Medical Director who is out of office or for any user that would like to review and complete consents on an iPhone. (The Dashboard app may be installed on an iPad or iPhone).
