Booker Overview

Booker: How it Works

Create TouchMD accounts using Booker

  • When patient accounts are created, updated, or scheduled for an appointment within the next 24 hours in Booker they will be added to TouchMD (first name, last name, and DOB are required; a patient email address is highly encouraged). Note: that only basic patient demographics will be sent to TouchMD to create an account.  When started, the integration will import the last 30 days of patients created or updated, and patients with appointments within the next 24 hours. If you would like patients created or updated > 30 days ago imported into TouchMD from Booker, please follow the “Exporting your patient list” instructions below.

Send pictures and consents from TouchMD to Booker

  • Currently not offered by Booker.
  • TouchMD offers a solution for practices who would like to manually move patient pictures and consents from TouchMD to their EMR/EHR/PM. This is called Local Backup. More information may be found here.

Booker: Steps to Integrate

  1. Pay the TouchMD Integration Setup Fee (an invoice will be supplied by your TouchMD Account Manager)
  2. Email  and and request that your location ID is added into TouchMD’s access list. Once this has been completed and you receive a reply from Booker, email your TouchMD Account Manager to confirm this has been completed.
  3. A TouchMD Integration Specialist will work with an admin for Booker from your practice to set up the integration between Booker and TouchMD. A TouchMD Integration Specialist will call, remote onto your computer and walk you through the assistance required.
  4. Your TouchMD Account Manager or a TouchMD Integration Specialist will reach out to confirm the completion of this integration.

Booker: What does it cost?

There is a one-time fee to setup an integration with Booker. An additional fee will be added to all subsequent TouchMD Monthly Maintenance invoices to maintain the Booker interface. The setup fee is to cover the time and resources spent by our IT and Integration teams to configure the integration between TouchMD and your EMR/EHR/PM system. The monthly fee is to maintain the connection between TouchMD and your EMR/EHR/PM system. With the integration, our system stores specific encrypted information on our server for each patient account to correctly link the patient between TouchMD and EMR/EHR/PM system. Storage of this information comes at a cost from our server host and the monthly fee covers those costs.

How do I learn about the fee specifics?

For specifics on the cost of the setup fee and the monthly fee, please contact your TouchMD Account Manager. If you are not sure of who your account manager is, please contact [email protected] or call 435.867.0077

Alert

Your EHR/PM software provider may charge additional fees to setup and maintain an interface with TouchMD. TouchMD is not responsible for payment of any fees assessed by your EHR/PM software provider
