Meevo: How it Works

Create TouchMD accounts using Meevo

  • When client (patient) accounts are created, edited, or scheduled in Meevo they will be also be added to TouchMD (first name, last name, and DOB are required; a patient email address is highly encouraged). Note: that only basic patient demographics will be sent to TouchMD to create an account. Please also note, that it may take up to 60 minutes before Meevo sends the patient’s basic demographics to TouchMD and the patient account is created.
    Pre-Existing Patients in Meevo

    Meevo will provide all pre-existing patients to us for import into TouchMD that have a first name, last name, and DOB (email address is highly encouraged). Since empty and partial DOBs are allowed in Meevo, not all of your patients may be imported at this time. However, as you and your staff add/edit the DOB to existing patient records in Meevo, their info will be transferred to TouchMD and a patient account created or matched.

Send pictures and consents from TouchMD to Meevo

  • Currently not offered by Meevo.
  • TouchMD offers a solution for practices who would like to manually move patient pictures and consents from TouchMD to their EMR/EHR/PM. This is called Local Backup. More information may be found here.

Meevo: Steps to Integrate

  1. Pay the TouchMD Integration Setup Fee (an invoice will be supplied by your TouchMD Account Manager).
  2. Send your Meevo ‘Tenant ID’ to your TouchMD account manager, or provide us with the web URL that you use to access Meevo.  For example: https://na0.meevo.com/login/10077  (10077 is the tenant ID).
    For accounts with multiple locations in Meevo

    If you use more than one location in Meevo, please let us know which locations you will be connecting to TouchMD.  We will also need to know if you want to keep the patient and staff list for each Meevo location separate in TouchMD, or if you want them combined into single lists.

  3. With this information, your TouchMD Account manager will create an integration support ticket for you.
  4. A TouchMD Integration Specialist will activate the API connection between TouchMD and Meevo.
  5. Upon activation, the all your existing patient data provided by Meevo will be used to initially create patient accounts in TouchMD.  Please note: patients accounts without full birthdates that are not created during this initial process will be added to TouchMD when the patient birthdate is edited in Meevo.
  6. Your TouchMD Account Manager or a TouchMD Integration Specialist will reach out to confirm the completion of this integration request.

Meevo: How long will it take to integrate?

TouchMD will start working on your request within 24 – 48 business hours of receiving the the setup files from the Meevo team. On average, Meevo integrations can take 2 – 5 days to complete once your request is made.

Meevo: What does it cost?

There is a one-time fee to setup an integration with Meevo. An additional fee will be added to all subsequent TouchMD Monthly Maintenance invoices to maintain the Meevo interface. The setup fee is to cover the time and resources spent by our IT and Integration teams to configure the integration between TouchMD and your EMR/EHR/PM system. The monthly fee is to cover cost of connecting to the Meevo API. Additionally, with the integration our system stores specific encrypted information on our server for each patient account to correctly link the patient between TouchMD and Meevo. Storage of this information comes at a cost from our server host and the monthly fee also covers those costs.
