Nextech Select/NexCloud: How it Works
TouchMD accounts using Nextech Select/NexCloud Integration:
When patient accounts are created or scheduled for an appointment in Nextech Select/NexCloud, they will be also be added to TouchMD (first name, last name, and DOB are required; a patient email address is highly encouraged). Only basic patient demographics will be sent to TouchMD to create an account. Note: This process may take up to 6 minutes before TouchMD receives the patient’s information from Nextech Select/NexCloud and the patient account is created TouchMD.
Sending pictures and consents/documents from TouchMD

- Patient pictures saved in the TouchMD system will automatically transfer to the “Photos” tab of Nextech Select/NexCloud/iPadEMR
- Patient consents or documents saved in the TouchMD system will automatically transfer to the “Misc” tab of Nextech Select/NexCloud.
Initial TouchMD patient account creation
As a part of the Nextech Select/NexCloud integration setup process a TouchMD patient account will be created for any patients that have been added, modified, or scheduled in Nextech Select/NexCloud within at least the last 90 days (more may be added upon request). The Nextech Select/NexCloud patient record must contain a full name and date of birth to be created in TouchMD during this process.

The integration is setup for 1 or more practices within the enterprise organization. When patient accounts are scheduled for an appointment at a location for the integrated practice(s) in Nextech PM, they will be be added to TouchMD (first name, last name, and DOB are required; a patient email address is highly encouraged). Only basic patient demographics will be sent to TouchMD to create an account. Note: This process may take up to 6 minutes before TouchMD receives the patient’s information from Nextech PM and the patient account is created TouchMD.
