Switching Patient Gallery Quality via Snap’s/Snap Pro’s Photo Viewing Mode

Available Features

Please note, that Snap/Snap Pro may not be currently available to your practice. To learn how you may enable Snap/Snap Pro please contact your Client Service Advisor.

As you are browsing patient images in TouchMD Snap/Snap Pro, you may want to view images in different qualities. You will have two options to choose from:

  • Favor Quality is the full resolution (full quality) version of the image. This is best used if you are looking for detail or would like to ensure you are viewing the full resolution version of the image. Viewing images in this quality may result in a slower viewing (download) speed due to the size of the image.
  • Favor Speed is a slightly compressed version of the image. This is best used if you are looking for a good quality photo, but would like to reduce your wait-time on the image viewing (download) speed.
What Determines the Download Speed?

Download speed is dependent on the Image Quality selected (i.e., the size of the photo), your internet speed, and the current bandwidth of your internet. If the download speed is insufficient for your needs, please discuss adjusting your internet speeds with your IT and your internet provider. TouchMD is not responsible for any increase in costs to adjust your internet service.
