How To Setup a Staff Login PIN

Steps to setup a PIN in Consult:

  1. Tap the patient badge and select your name from the staff list.
  2. Enter your TouchMD password.
  3. Tap the “Login & Setup PIN” button.
  4. Enter and verify your desired PIN.  PIN must be 4 or more digits long.
  5. Your PIN has been setup, now login using your new PIN.
  6. Repeat the steps above to setup your PIN on all the Windows or iPad devices you use.
HIPAA Requirement

Because HIPAA requires a strong password, a PIN cannot be set at a system level. Your TouchMD password must be used to authenticate your PIN on each device.

Steps to remove or change your PIN:

  1. Tap the patient badge and select your name from the staff list.
  2. Tap the “Change or remove PIN” button on PIN pad.
  3. Your PIN has been removed, now login using your TouchMD password or setup a new PIN using the instructions above.
