Creating & Reviewing a Note via The TouchMD Consult App

Learn how to create and view an internal note in a patient’s account via the TouchMD Consult app. Note: You may only delete notes via the TouchMD Dashboard (dashboard.touchmd.com).

Who can see notes?

Notes are meant for internal use ONLY and are not designed to be seen by the patient. Notes created in TouchMD will only be visible in the TouchMD system and not available in any third-party service/software.

Creating a Note:

  1. Begin by accessing a patient account
  2. Select the Patient Tab
  3. Tap “Notes”
  4. Write or dictate a note in the provided box

Reviewing Notes:

  1. Begin by accessing a patient account
  2. Select the Patient Tab
  3. Tap “Notes”
  4. Tap “View Notes”
  5. Enter Your PIN
  6. The Notes will display and be stamped with the date they were entered into the system

Do I need a PIN?

A PIN is required to view patient Notes. If you do not have a PIN setup on the device you are using, you will be prompted to setup a PIN for that device before viewing Notes. Follow the prompts on the screen to set up your PIN.
