Screen Sharing the Consult App During a TeleConsult

This feature is currently only available on an Apple iPad

Provider Video Feed

When the screen is shared, the provider video feed is paused and resumes once the screen is no longer shared. This is the view the patient will see while the screen is being shared:


Learn how to share your screen with your patient during a teleconsult. Use of this option allows your patient to engage in a valuable, educational, visual conversation during the consult using the TouchMD technology.

    1. Begin by accessing a patient account
    2. Select the Patient Tab
    3. Select “TeleConsult”
    4. Verify the patient’s info and select “Start”
    5. Supply the patient with either a link via email/text or the Session ID to join the session
    6. Once the patient has joined, an alert will populate indicating that the patient has joined the session. Tap the “Waiting Room” icon to admit the patient
    7. To share the Consult app with a patient, navigate to the desired area (i.e., the Presentation Tab, the Gallery, etc…) and tap the “Share” icon

      Navigate to the desired screen FIRST and then share the screen
